Doug Dyer, CFP®, CRPC™
Wealth Advisor
Our name reflects three things we believe every client relationship needs: faith, love, and trust. You place some faith in us to deliver what we say we will. We care for and love the people on our team like family, and we bring that same love and care to every client. Over time, we work to earn your trust.
Our advisors talk through each client's plan together, so you get more than one perspective on the decisions ahead.

Trinity Private Wealth was built on these three rules. They guide our whole team, and they remain the foundation of our firm.
We explain our recommendations, tell you what we believe and why, and put your interests first in our advisory role.
You'll talk with a real person who listens before advising. We review costs openly, and we treat you as a person, never as an account balance.
We prepare thoroughly, review your plan regularly, and adjust when your circumstances change. We can't control the markets, and we don't pretend to. However, we do have a strategy to Protect against Market Downturns. We can control how carefully we plan and how closely we pay attention.
We work with RFG Advisory, a registered investment adviser. Its investment team supports the portfolio strategy and execution behind our clients' accounts.
Chief Investment Officer
Rick leads RFG's investment team and helps guide how portfolios are built across the RFG community. He joined RFG Advisory in 2016 as a partner and Chief Investment Officer and brings nearly three decades of industry experience. Before RFG, Rick spent more than a decade at Bain Capital Credit, where he was Head of the Consumer Group and an assistant portfolio manager for an $8 billion CLO business. He studied mathematics and economics at Harvard University and earned his MBA from Stanford University.
VP of Investment Solutions
Eric supports RFG's investment strategy and portfolio solutions.
Sr. Director, Portfolio Strategy
Patrick contributes to portfolio strategy and investment research.
Director, Institutional Trading
Paul oversees institutional trading, which carries out the trades in client portfolios.
Our experience in financial services goes back to 1996. Over the years, our advisors have held roles with NYLIFE Securities, Eagle Strategies, Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, and Retirement Planners of America.
Trinity Private Wealth grew out of Retirement Planners of America. The name is new. The people, the relationships, and the way we work are the same.
We started Trinity Private Wealth with one goal in mind: a firm built on the same three rules, where experienced advisors and the next generation work side by side.
We want to help the families we serve carry their legacy on, and we want to be right beside them as they do.
We work with RFG Advisory, a registered investment adviser that provides technology and operational support. That lets us spend our time on what matters to you: conversations, planning, and reviews.
Client accounts are held at Pershing.

Have a question that isn't here? Start with a conversation.
Start with what you need help with, then compare planners on credentials, services, how they are paid, and how well they listen. A designation such as CFP® reflects defined education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements. You can check any advisor's record for free through the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site and FINRA BrokerCheck.
Ask people you trust for referrals and use directories from professional organizations such as the CFP Board, then research each candidate before you meet. The SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site (adviserinfo.sec.gov) and FINRA BrokerCheck show registration, employment history, and any disclosed disciplinary events.
Look for verified credentials, a clean regulatory record, a clear explanation of fees and conflicts of interest, a process built around your goals, and an advisor who listens before recommending. You should leave your meeting understanding how the advisor is paid and what services you would receive.
A fiduciary is legally required to act in your best interest within the services covered by that duty. Registered investment advisers owe a fiduciary duty under federal law. Brokers follow a best-interest standard called Regulation Best Interest when they make recommendations. Some firms are dually registered, so ask which standard applies to each service and get the answer in writing.
Trinity Private Wealth works with RFG Advisory, a registered investment adviser that provides technology and operational support. Client accounts are custodied at Pershing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon. Bank of New York Mellon is the oldest bank in the United States (opened June 9, 1784, making it 242 years old). You continue to work with the advisors and support team you know.

Our first two meetings come with no charge and no obligation. Come with your questions.
