A new name, the same commitment.
Watch a short message from our team about what's changing and what stays the same.
Three decades of experience, one team.
We bring three decades of planning experience and a family's sense of responsibility to every relationship, so we can help you look after what you've built and the people who matter most to you.
The rules our practice lives by.
Do the right thing.
We explain our recommendations, tell you what we believe and why, and put your interests first in our advisory role.
These are the rules our practice lives by. We've carried them for decades and passed them down in our own families. They guide how we give advice, how we make decisions, and how we treat the people who trust us.

You've spent years building what you have. Before we talk about investments, we want to understand what you've built, what you need it to do, and what matters most to you. We're a financial advisory firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, guided by three simple rules and a commitment to personal service. We build a customized plan around your situation, review it regularly, and explain our advice in plain language so the decisions stay yours.
Built on what matters.
Three ideas shape how we work. They show up in every plan, every review, and every conversation.
We look after what you've built.

Have a question that isn't here? Start with a conversation.
How much do I need to retire?
There is no single number that works for everyone. The amount you need depends on how much you plan to spend each year, how long retirement may last, what Social Security and any pension will provide, and how taxes and health care costs affect your income. A cash flow plan estimates it using assumptions you can review.
How do I know when I'm ready to retire?
There is no single right age. We can help you develop a plan that covers your spending. You also need a plan for health coverage until Medicare, and you need to understand how taxes and Social Security timing fit together. We can help customize your plan and even more importantly maintain and follow that plan.
How do I create and maintain a financial plan?
A financial plan starts with your goals, then maps your income, spending, savings, investments, taxes, insurance, and estate documents against them. After it is built, review it at least once a year and after major life changes, because a plan only works when it reflects your current situation.
How do I choose a financial planner or retirement planner?
Start with what you need help with, then compare planners on credentials, services, how they are paid, and how well they listen. A designation such as CFP® reflects defined education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements. You can check any advisor's record for free through the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site and FINRA BrokerCheck.
What should I look for in a financial advisor?
Look for verified credentials, a clean regulatory record, a clear explanation of fees and conflicts of interest, a process built around your goals, and an advisor who listens before recommending. You should leave your meeting understanding how the advisor is paid and what services you would receive.
Is there a cost for the first two meetings?
No. Our first two meetings come with no charge and no obligation. In the first, we learn about your goals and full financial picture. In the second, we walk you through your customized plan and our Invest and Protect approach, and we review all costs openly.
